“Let Go” (2024) is a new media installation, fluid simulation onto a corner window. Particles crash like waves, evoking the Sea of Samsara and the cycle of attachment. The work explores emotional turbulence and the act of release. Rooted in compassion, it reflects on impermanence and the necessity of letting go. The installation was located on a busy street in Kalk Post. The artwork was made possible thanks to the Kalk Kunst and the support of the Erkus family.

The universe is so perfect, so beautifully designed that the time and place of birth constitutes our horoscope, which actually is a blue print of this life.  All challenges to be overcome are written.

TODOS SANTOS (2023)

Altar installation with handmade bread ‘Ofrendas’ / Pan de Muerto by Rafael Montero, and animation ‘Calaveritas’ from Kamalanetra. Offerings were made to family members and trans women who passed away. In Bolivia, north Argentina and Peru this fest is known as ‘All Saints’. It’s a vibrant celebration that honors the memories of loved ones who have passed away.  Same same but different, “Dia de los Muertos”, also known as the Day of the Dead, is primarily associated with Mexico, but it is also celebrated in several other Latin American countries such as Guatemala, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador. Baraka / Rubicon e.V is an open meeting place in Cologne for queer people from all over the world and their friends since 2005. #diadelosmuertos#todossantos#sierrasur
